About the week

UIW is organized by Uppsala EBA Student Association since 2009. The purpose is to welcome 20 participants and give them and their hosts a wide mix of events containing everything from getting to know the Swedish culture to meeting people around the world and visiting companies.

Uppsala is a traditional lively student town, where everything is within a walking distance, yet it is located only one hour away from the capital of Sweden, Stockholm.

During the week, participants will experience Uppsala's awesome party life and many traditions. They will be given the chance to see famous sights in Stockholm, and also feel the peace and calm down in the nature and countryside of Sweden.

Highlights Included

-Overnight stay at Norreda Torp, cottage at a beautiful lake
-Scandinavian sauna bathing
-Visit to Stockholm City
-Company visits to Swedish firms
-Introduction to the swedish traditions and traditional food
-Formal dinner “gasque” in one of Uppsala's historical student nation buildings
