Unconscious biases, internalized preferences and stereotypes often guide our decisions without us noticing. Scientists speak of unconscious biases.
By this they mean mental shortcuts that our brain takes to filter information and to store it in our memory. In our working world, however, we need conscious decisions that focus on diversity. We will show you examples of the effects of unconscious biases in important decision-making situations. And we will use situations from everyday working life to show you how you can uncover unconscious thought patterns through reflection.
