About the week

Housing
During the week you will be hosted by students and active members of our student organization. These hosts were all selected by us and are more than happy to create warm and welcome living arrangements for you. They will most likely all participate in our activities, so it’s a great opportunity to get to know them a bit more!

Amsterdam and Rotterdam
You will be given the great opportunity to not only see one, but two of the biggest cities that Holland has to offer. Amsterdam, with a rich history and her famous canals. Rotterdam, a city maybe not that famous outside of Holland. Rotterdam was actually completely destroyed during WW2. Because of this the whole city had to be rebuilt and is now one of the most modern cities within Europe! It has one of Europe’s biggest harbors and is the beginning of many cargo routes with destinations all over the world. You will get to see and experience everything, including the big Euromast!

Night Life
Now this is where the fun part starts! Sight-seeing, visits and historic hot spots are great and all, but students in the Netherlands can throw parties like no others can.

Please be aware that IW Holland charges a participation fee of 30 Euros!

COVID-19
The IW Holland organisation team takes the current situation about the Corona virus very seriously. They are creating an IW Holland program that depends on the local and national pandemic management of the Netherlands in order to stay safe and healthy.
