The Dom is a finished gothic cathedral. However, not all parts of it are from the Middle Ages. The completion of the cathedral took place during the Industrial Revolution. Nowhere is this clearer than during a guided tour of the cathedral roofs. Are you expecting a historical wooden roof truss? Be surprised by a delicate iron construction that is older than the Eiffel Tower. High above the city, explore unknown tower rooms with depots and workshops of the cathedral's Dombauhütte. And let yourself be overwhelmed by one of the most spectacular views that Cologne has to offer.
